 Log Cabin wants to recognize some courageous Republicans who have stood up for basic fairness and, in the process, risked their seats to do the right thing. Unfortunately, over the last couple years, too many politicians have tried to use gay and lesbian people to score political points. Some Republicans though have stood up to the voices of intolerance. They put their elected offices on the line to stand up for basic fairness and common decency. We respect their courage and recognize these GOP leaders—these men and women who represent the future of our party.
