2005 Washington Fly-In

2005 Washington Fly-In

Washington, DC—June 9-11, 2005

Two dozen of Log Cabin's closest allies and strongest supporters joined us in the nation's capital for the annual DC Fly-In.  This event gave our trustees and other major supporters an opportunity to see and hear first-hand the critical work being done by Log Cabin during the 109th Congress.  It also provided participants an opportunity to meet with elected officials and Washington insiders.

Briefing participants included Senate Majority Leader Bill First (R-TN), Senator John Sununu (R-NH), anti-tax activist Grover Norquist, former GOP Congressman Steve Gunderson, and GOP pollster Tony Fabrizio.  Aside from speeches and strategy sessions, the DC Fly-In included a special behind the scenes tour of the U.S. Capitol and a private reception with GOP Congressman Jim Kolbe (AZ).  The weekend concluded with a Washington Nationals baseball game.  Anyone who’s a Log Cabin Trustee will receive an invitation to this annual event.

Please consider becoming a trustee today!
