2006 Convention Sponsorship Information

Don't Miss the Chance to be a VIP Convention Sponsor!

Hundreds of gay and lesbian Americans and our allies will converge on Washington, DC from April 27-30, 2006 for the Log Cabin Republicans National Convention & Liberty Education Forum National Symposium.  We hope you’ll consider becoming a VIP sponsor for this important event.

Becoming a Convention and Symposium sponsor provides you with important and valuable benefits.  As a sponsor, you'll have access to all the programs and convention sessions.  Plus, you'll receive VIP invitations to the weekend's private receptions, exclusive parties, and the National Sponsorship Dinner.  At the 2005 convention, the Sponsors Dinner featured former U.S. Senator Al D'Amato (R-NY).  Plus, sponsors were invited to a private reception with former New Jersey Governor Christine Todd Whitman.  The events we're planning for the 2006 Convention will offer you a chance to meet elected officials, other VIP's like yourself, and convention speakers.  Sponsorship packages also cover premium hotel accommodations or upgrades at the fashionable Doubletree Washington

Aside from offering VIP sponsorship opportunities, for the first time ever, we are offering you the opportunity to sponsor specific events at the conference in addition to your individual sponsorship.  Please contact Bryan Pruitt to arrange your sponsorship at bpruitt@libertyeducationforum.org or call (202) 347-5306.

The 2006 Log Cabin Republicans National Convention and Liberty Education Forum National Symposium will be our biggest and best event yet.  It'll be held at the elegant U.S. Chamber of Commerce Building just across from Lafayette Park near the White House.   The convention will get started with a special legislative reception featuring members of the U.S. House and Senate.  We've already started lining-up an excellent roster of speakers throughout the weekend.  Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson will be speaking about issues related to faith and sexual orientation.  Noted gay author Jonathan Rauch, a 2005 winner of the prestigious National Magazine Award, will outline a conservative case for civil marriage equality.  Plus, a distinguished panel of leaders from all the major gay rights organizations will offer their insights on the current state of the equality movement.  We're also going to feature a leading roster of political insiders and commentators to illuminate the key political issues facing our nation.  As a VIP sponsor, you'll have the unique opportunity to meet many of the speakers at the 2006 Convention and Symposium.

The 2006 Log Cabin National Dinner will be held at the elegant Ronald Reagan Building.  This event will kick-off the beginning of a year-long celebration to mark our 30th anniversary.  We'll also be recognizing courageous Republicans who have stood with us in our struggle to build an inclusive future for our party and our nation.  All VIP sponsors will receive premium seating at the event and an invitation to our first ever National Dinner after-party.  Please help us make the 2006 Log Cabin National Convention our best ever.
