Scott Tucker

Scott Tucker
Communications Director

Scott Tucker joined Log Cabin's national staff in January 2006.  He is Communications Director for Log Cabin Republicans and its associated educational foundation, the Liberty Education Forum.

As Communications Director, Scott implements Log Cabin's messaging and communications strategy, acting as a spokesperson and conducting interviews with local and national media.  All press inquiries can be sent to Scott at stucker@logcabin.org

In 2008, Scott launched www.BlogCabin.net, the official blog of the Log Cabin Republicans where he posts frequently.

Scott received his B.A. in political science from Boston University in 2005, with a minor concentration in print journalism.  In summer 2003, he interned at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) as an assistant investigator in the civil rights division where he worked in disability rights.  At DOJ, he was responsible for helping implement the Americans With Disabilities Act.  Scott wrote extensively for the Daily Free Press, Boston University's independent student newspaper (one of the largest daily publications in Boston), where he covered state and local politics.  He is a native of St. Louis, Missouri.
